Ingredients

  • 50 g crab
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 pieces pepper
  • 1 (juiced) lemon

Method

  1. Rinse and clean the crab thoroughly, then crack the claws and legs to allow the butter garlic sauce to penetrate the meat during cooking.
  2. Mince the 3 cloves of garlic finely and slice the 2 pieces of pepper into thin rounds.
  3. In a wide pan over medium heat, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter until it begins to foam, then add the minced garlic and sliced pepper, stirring continuously for about 2 minutes until the garlic turns golden and fragrant.
  4. Add the crab into the pan, tossing it well to coat every piece in the butter garlic mixture.
  5. Cover the pan and cook for approximately 10 minutes over medium heat, turning the crab halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Uncover the pan, drizzle the juice of 1 lemon over the crab, and toss everything together over high heat for a final 2 to 3 minutes to reduce and concentrate the sauce.
  7. Transfer the crab to a serving platter and spoon any remaining butter garlic sauce from the pan directly over the top before serving.
