Ingredients
- 50 g scallops
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp white wine
- 80 g Parmesan
Method
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to foam.
- Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Place the scallops in the skillet and sear for 1 minute per side until golden and just cooked through.
- Deglaze the pan with the white wine and allow it to reduce for approximately 30 seconds, coating the scallops in the sauce.
- Transfer the scallops to individual shells or a small baking dish, spoon the pan sauce over them, and top generously with the Parmesan.
- Place under a broiler for 1 minute until the Parmesan is melted and lightly golden.
