Ingredients

  • 50 g scallops
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 80 g Parmesan

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until it begins to foam.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Place the scallops in the skillet and sear for 1 minute per side until golden and just cooked through.
  4. Deglaze the pan with the white wine and allow it to reduce for approximately 30 seconds, coating the scallops in the sauce.
  5. Transfer the scallops to individual shells or a small baking dish, spoon the pan sauce over them, and top generously with the Parmesan.
  6. Place under a broiler for 1 minute until the Parmesan is melted and lightly golden.
