Ingredients

  • 50 g crab meat
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 50 g cayenne
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 (juiced) lemon

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to foam, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the mustard, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter, stirring to combine into a smooth, aromatic sauce.
  3. Fold in the crab meat gently, ensuring it is evenly coated with the devilled sauce without breaking up the pieces.
  4. Cook the mixture over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the crab is heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat and squeeze the lemon juice over the devilled crab, stirring once more to brighten the flavors before serving.
