Ingredients

  • 300 g lamb
  • 50 g turnip slices
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp bone broth

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Cut the lamb into bite-sized chunks and arrange them in the bottom of a deep casserole dish.
  3. Layer the turnip slices evenly over the lamb pieces.
  4. Sprinkle the thyme over the layered ingredients and pour the bone broth over the top.
  5. Cover the casserole dish with a lid or foil and place it in the preheated oven.
  6. Bake for 43 minutes until the lamb is tender and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven, let rest for 2 minutes, and serve hot directly from the casserole dish.
