- 300 g ground beef
- 300 g cauliflower purée
- 2 tbsp bone broth gravy
- 30 g almond flour cover
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) to prepare for baking the pie.
- In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for approximately 8 minutes, breaking it apart until fully cooked through.
- Stir the bone broth gravy into the cooked ground beef and simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly reduced.
- Transfer the beef mixture into a pie dish, then spread the cauliflower purée evenly over the top to form the mash layer.
- Sprinkle the almond flour cover uniformly over the cauliflower purée to create a golden crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
- Allow the pie to rest for 5 minutes before serving to let the layers set and the flavors meld together.
