Ingredients

  • 300 g ground beef
  • 300 g cauliflower purée
  • 2 tbsp bone broth gravy
  • 30 g almond flour cover

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) to prepare for baking the pie.
  2. In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for approximately 8 minutes, breaking it apart until fully cooked through.
  3. Stir the bone broth gravy into the cooked ground beef and simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly reduced.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture into a pie dish, then spread the cauliflower purée evenly over the top to form the mash layer.
  5. Sprinkle the almond flour cover uniformly over the cauliflower purée to create a golden crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  7. Allow the pie to rest for 5 minutes before serving to let the layers set and the flavors meld together.
