Ingredients
- 150 g pork rinds
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pieces black pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) to ensure it reaches the correct temperature before the pork rinds go in.
- Spread the 150 g of pork rinds in a single layer on a baking tray, making sure they are not overlapping for even crisping.
- Season the pork rinds evenly with 1 tsp of salt and the 2 pieces of black pepper, crumbled or crushed over the top.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until the scratchings are deeply golden and have puffed up with a satisfying crunch.
- Remove the tray from the oven and allow the pork scratchings to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving, as they will crisp further as they cool.
