- 50 g cayenne
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 1 tbsp parsley
Method
- Gently warm the butter in a small saucepan over low heat for about 1 minute until melted and fragrant.
- Fold the crab meat into the melted butter, being careful to keep the meat in tender pieces.
- Season the mixture with nutmeg and cayenne, stirring gently to distribute the spices evenly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
- Divide the potted crab between two serving vessels and garnish with parsley before serving.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving at warm room temperature with crackers or vegetables for scooping.
