Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (680g) Ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium Onion, grated and squeezed
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin, ground
- 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- to taste Salt and black pepper
- 1 large Egg
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Knead for 3-4 minutes until well combined.
- Shape into oval patties about 1/2 inch thick.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Serve with grilled tomatoes, peppers, and a squeeze of lemon.
