Ingredients

  • 2 cups (224g) Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup (112g) Almond flour
  • 2 oz (56g) Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 100g Feta or kashar cheese, cubed
  • for egg wash Egg yolk + water
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds or nigella seeds

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt mozzarella with cream cheese. Mix in almond flour and egg to form dough.
  3. Divide into 8 pieces. Flatten each, place a cube of feta in the center.
  4. Wrap dough around filling and shape into rounds.
  5. Place on a lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle seeds.
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.
