Ingredients
- 2 cups (224g) Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (112g) Almond flour
- 2 oz (56g) Cream cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 100g Feta or kashar cheese, cubed
- for egg wash Egg yolk + water
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds or nigella seeds
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt mozzarella with cream cheese. Mix in almond flour and egg to form dough.
- Divide into 8 pieces. Flatten each, place a cube of feta in the center.
- Wrap dough around filling and shape into rounds.
- Place on a lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle seeds.
- Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
