Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900g) Beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 Green peppers
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 2 Bay leaves
- to taste Salt, pepper, paprika
Method
- Brown beef cubes in butter over high heat. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion in the same pot until translucent.
- Add tomato paste and cook 1 minute.
- Return beef, add broth, bay leaves, and peppers.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer.
- Cover and cook 1.5 hours until beef is fork-tender.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Serve hot.
