Ingredients

  • 250g Ground beef
  • 250g Ground lamb
  • 1 small Onion, grated and squeezed dry
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Aleppo pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Combine meats, onion, parsley, cumin, pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
  2. Knead for 3-4 minutes until well combined.
  3. Shape into oval patties, about 2 inches long.
  4. Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with a simple green salad and yogurt on the side.
