Ingredients

  • 300 g sea bass
  • 50 g sea bream
  • 1 (juiced) lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup arugula

Method

  1. Rinse the sea bass and sea bream under cold water, pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels, and place them on a clean work surface.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic, then brush this marinade generously over both sides of the sea bass and sea bream.
  3. Allow the fish to marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes so the Turkish-style marinade penetrates the flesh before grilling.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat, then cook the sea bass and sea bream for approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side until the skin is charred and the flesh flakes easily.
  5. Transfer the grilled sea bass and sea bream to a large serving platter and arrange the fresh arugula alongside the fish.
  6. Drizzle any remaining lemon juice over the fish and arugula just before serving to brighten the traditional Turkish flavors.
