- 300 g lamb cubes
- 2 pieces long green peppers
- 2 medium tomato
- 1 small onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
Method
- Melt the butter in a wide, heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat until it begins to foam.
- Add the lamb cubes in a single layer and sear for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until deeply browned on all sides.
- Stir in the long green peppers and cook for 5 minutes until they begin to soften and blister slightly at the edges.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan, reduce the heat to medium, and stir everything together to combine the juices with the lamb.
- Season the mixture to taste, cover the pan, and simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes until the lamb is tender and the sauce has thickened.
