Ingredients

  • 300 g ground meat
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 medium tomato
  • 2 pieces pepper
  • 30 g almond flour base

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Finely dice the onion, tomatoes, and peppers, then combine them thoroughly with the ground meat and almond flour base in a large bowl until a cohesive mixture forms.
  3. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and press each portion directly onto the prepared baking tray, shaping them into thin, flat oval rounds no more than 1 cm thick.
  4. Bake the flatbreads in the preheated oven for 25–27 minutes, until the meat is fully cooked through and the edges are lightly browned.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow the flatbreads to rest for 3–5 minutes before serving to help them firm up slightly.
