Ingredients
- 100 g cured beef
- 60 g mozzarella
- 2 pieces pepper
- 30 g almond flour pastry
- 4 pieces eggs
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a small baking tray with parchment paper.
- Whisk the 4 eggs in a bowl until smooth, then combine with the almond flour pastry to form a cohesive dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, flatten each into a thin round, and layer slices of cured beef and mozzarella in the center of each portion.
- Season each filled portion with pepper, then fold and roll the dough tightly around the filling to form compact rolls.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared tray and bake in the preheated oven for 4 minutes until the almond flour pastry is set and the mozzarella has melted inside.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to rest for 2 minutes before serving to let the melted mozzarella firm slightly.
