Ingredients
- 60 g labneh
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g za'atar
- 1 piece cucumber
- 2 medium tomato
- 50 g olives
Method
- Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and cut the tomatoes into wedges, then arrange them around the edges of a wide shallow serving bowl.
- Place the labneh in the center of the bowl and use the back of a spoon to spread it into a smooth, shallow well.
- Drizzle the olive oil generously over the labneh, allowing it to pool in the well and coat the surface.
- Sprinkle the za'atar evenly over the labneh and olive oil, pressing it lightly so it adheres to the surface.
- Scatter the olives across the bowl alongside the cucumber and tomato to complete the Lebanese-style arrangement.
- Let the bowl rest for 5 minutes at room temperature before serving so the za'atar blooms fully in the olive oil.
