- 1 piece cucumber
- 2 medium tomato
- 50 g pickles
- 1 tsp spices
Method
- Rub the 300 g of lamb thoroughly with the spices and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over high heat and cook the spiced lamb for 4-5 minutes per side until charred at the edges and cooked through.
- While the lamb rests for 2-3 minutes off the heat, slice the cucumber and tomatoes into thin, even pieces.
- Thinly slice the cooked lamb against the grain to achieve tender, shawarma-style strips.
- Arrange the sliced lamb, cucumber, tomatoes, and pickles in two serving bowls in distinct sections for an authentic Lebanese presentation.
