Ingredients
- 1 cup swiss chard
- 300 g ground meat
- 1 small onion
- 1 tsp spices
- 2 medium tomato sauce
Method
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground meat for 5-6 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks until no pink remains.
- Stir in the spices and tomato sauce, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer the filling for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- While the filling cooks, carefully separate the swiss chard leaves and lay them flat on a clean surface to use as wrappers.
- Spoon an even portion of the seasoned meat filling onto the center of each swiss chard leaf.
- Fold the sides of each swiss chard leaf inward and roll firmly from the base to the tip to secure the filling inside.
- Arrange the wraps seam-side down on a serving plate and let them rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
