Ingredients
- 30 g almond flour pastry
- 80 g white cheese
- 4 pieces eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp parsley
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a small baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Crumble the white cheese into a bowl, mix in the chopped parsley, and set the filling aside.
- Layer the almond flour pastry sheets into the greased baking dish, spreading the white cheese and parsley mixture evenly between each layer.
- Whisk the 4 eggs together with the remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter and pour the mixture evenly over the layered pastry.
- Allow the pastry to soak for 5 minutes so the egg mixture is fully absorbed into the layers before placing it in the oven.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 23 minutes until the top is golden and the egg custard is fully set.
- Remove from the oven, allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 3 portions and serving warm.
