Ingredients
- 300 g beef cubes
- 1 small onion
- 2 medium tomato
- 2 pieces pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 leaves bay leaf
Method
- Cut the tomatoes and peppers into medium chunks and set aside along with the peeled garlic cloves, sliced onion, and bay leaves.
- Place the beef cubes in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat and sear them for about 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Add the onion, garlic, tomatoes, peppers, and bay leaves to the pot, stirring to combine everything with the browned beef.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid, and allow the kebab to simmer gently for 35 minutes until the beef is tender and the vegetables have melted into a rich sauce.
- Remove the bay leaves before serving and adjust seasoning to taste.
