Ingredients
- 1 small green onion
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 pieces red pepper flakes
Method
- Trim the roots and any wilted tips from the green onion, then slice it thinly on a slight diagonal into a mixing bowl.
- Add the chopped parsley and red pepper flakes to the bowl with the sliced green onion.
- Drizzle the olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice over the ingredients in the bowl.
- Sprinkle the sumac evenly over the salad and toss everything together until the green onion is well coated.
