Ingredients

  • 8 Large jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • 1 can (5 oz) Canned tuna, drained
  • 4 oz (115g) Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes (use gloves).
  3. Mix tuna, cream cheese, half the cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon tuna mixture into each jalapeño half.
  5. Top each popper with remaining cheddar.
  6. Bake 15-18 minutes until cheese is bubbly and jalapeños tender. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
