Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5 oz / 140g each) Canned tuna in water, drained
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise (or full-fat Greek yogurt)
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Toasted sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp Red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 6 large Butter lettuce or romaine leaves
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Whisk mayo with curry powder, turmeric, and lime juice in a bowl.
  2. Flake tuna into the bowl. Add red onion and cilantro; mix gently to combine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon into lettuce leaves and top with toasted almonds. Serve immediately.
