Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Full-fat coconut milk (from a can)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
- pinch Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Powdered allulose
- 1 tsp Coconut oil or ghee
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
- Whisk all ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Bring slowly to a gentle simmer — don't boil — whisking constantly so the spices don't sit on the bottom.
- Simmer 3-5 minutes until the color deepens to a rich orange-gold and the kitchen smells fragrant.
- Pour into a blender and pulse for 10 seconds to froth (or use a milk frother in the saucepan).
- Pour into a warm mug and dust with extra cinnamon. Best sipped slowly before bed.
