Ingredients
- 1 tsp (2g) Ceremonial-grade matcha powder
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Hot water (175°F / 80°C)
- 3/4 cup (175ml) Unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp Powdered allulose
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Method
- Sift the matcha into a small bowl to break up clumps.
- Pour in the hot water and whisk in a quick zig-zag motion (or use a bamboo chasen) for 20 seconds until a creamy green foam forms on top.
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Stir the allulose and vanilla into the almond milk, then pour over the ice.
- Slowly pour the matcha over the milk for the layered ombré effect, then stir before drinking.
