Ingredients
- 6 piece(s) Egg(s)
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 2 handfuls (150g) Spinach
- 150g Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Gruyere or kashkaval cheese
- 1/2 piece Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Butter
- to taste Salt, pepper, nutmeg
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Saute onion and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Add spinach and stir until wilted.
- Whisk eggs and cream, add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Spread the vegetable mixture in a greased tart pan, sprinkle with half the cheese.
- Pour in the egg mixture, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes.
