Ingredients

  • 6 piece(s) Egg(s)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 handfuls (150g) Spinach
  • 150g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Gruyere or kashkaval cheese
  • 1/2 piece Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • to taste Salt, pepper, nutmeg

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Add spinach and stir until wilted.
  3. Whisk eggs and cream, add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Spread the vegetable mixture in a greased tart pan, sprinkle with half the cheese.
  5. Pour in the egg mixture, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes.
