Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) Ground lamb
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 can (14 oz) Diced tomatoes
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Mix lamb with cumin, cinnamon, half the paprika, salt, and pepper. Form meatballs.
  2. Brown meatballs in olive oil. Remove.
  3. Add garlic, remaining paprika, and tomatoes. Simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Return meatballs. Make wells and crack eggs into sauce.
  5. Cover and cook 5-7 minutes until eggs are set. Garnish with parsley.
