- 300 g sea bass
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
Method
- Prepare the chermoula marinade by combining coriander, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and paprika in a bowl and mixing until a thick paste forms.
- Score the sea bass fillets with a sharp knife to allow the chermoula to penetrate deeply, then coat the fish thoroughly on all sides with the marinade.
- Cover the marinated sea bass and allow it to rest for 15 minutes so the Moroccan spices fully infuse into the flesh.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the sea bass for approximately 8 to 9 minutes per side, until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily.
- Serve the chermoula fish immediately, spooning any remaining marinade juices from the pan over the top as a finishing sauce.
