  • 50 g olives
  • 50 g capers
  • 2 medium tomato
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 3 cloves garlic

Method

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks until no pink remains.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the beef and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring to distribute it evenly through the meat.
  3. Dice the tomatoes and stir them into the skillet along with the cumin, letting the mixture cook down for 8-10 minutes until the tomatoes break down into a saucy consistency.
  4. Fold in the olives and capers, reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer everything together for a final 5-6 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving the picadillo hot over your preferred keto-friendly base.
