Ingredients
- 100 g tuna
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 piece avocado
- 50 g wasabi mayo
Method
- Slice the tuna into thin, even pieces approximately half a centimeter thick, using a sharp knife with smooth, single strokes to preserve the delicate texture of the fish.
- Arrange the tuna slices in a single layer and marinate them in soy sauce for 10 minutes, turning once halfway through to ensure even absorption.
- While the tuna marinates, halve the avocado, remove the pit, and slice the flesh into thin, clean strips directly from the skin.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, moving them constantly until golden and fragrant, then set aside to cool.
- Plate the marinated tuna slices alongside the avocado strips, drizzle any remaining soy sauce marinade over the arrangement, and finish with a generous dollop of wasabi mayo and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
