Ingredients
- 300 g chicken
- 2 tbsp zhug sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 (juiced) lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Crush the garlic cloves and combine them with the zhug sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil in a bowl to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated, and allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and brush lightly with a small amount of olive oil.
- Place the marinated chicken into the hot pan and cook for 13 minutes on the first side without moving it, allowing a proper sear to develop.
- Flip the chicken and cook for a further 13 minutes on the second side until cooked through with no pink remaining in the center.
- Remove the chicken from the heat and drizzle any remaining zhug sauce over the top before serving.
