  • 2 lbs (900g) Chicken wings, split into flats and drums
  • 1 tsp Baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced (or 1/4 cup hot sauce)

Method

  1. Pat wings completely dry — this is the key to crispiness.
  2. Toss with baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping every 8 minutes, until skin is deeply browned and crisp.
  5. Toss hot wings with melted butter and minced garlic — or your favorite buffalo sauce.
  6. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dip.
