Ingredients

  • 6 oz (170g) Ground beef (80/20)
  • 3 Bacon strips
  • 1 (28g) Cheddar slice
  • 1/2 Avocado, sliced
  • 2 Iceberg lettuce, large leaves
  • 2 slices Tomato, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Method

  1. Form beef into a thick patty; season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Wrap the bacon strips around the patty edge, securing with a toothpick.
  3. Sear in a hot skillet 4-5 minutes per side until bacon is crisp and patty is medium.
  4. Top with cheddar in the last minute to melt.
  5. Stack: lettuce leaf → mayo → patty → avocado → tomato → lettuce leaf. Wrap in parchment to eat.
