Ingredients

  • 8 strips Bacon
  • 8 oz (225g) Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (50g) Sharp cheddar, finely shredded
  • 2 tbsp Butter, softened
  • 1 Green onion, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Method

  1. Cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels. Crumble; reserve half for coating.
  2. Beat cream cheese, butter, cheddar, green onion, garlic powder, and pepper until combined.
  3. Fold in half the crumbled bacon. Chill 20 minutes to firm up.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls. Roll each in the reserved bacon crumbs.
  5. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
