Ingredients

  • 12 large Jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz (225g) Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar
  • 12 Bacon slices
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy.
