Ingredients
- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups (200g) Sharp cheddar, shredded
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
Method
- Melt butter in a large pot. Add garlic, cook 1 minute.
- Add broccoli and broth. Simmer 15 minutes until tender.
- Blend half the soup for a chunky texture (or all for smooth).
- Stir in cream and cheddar over low heat until melted.
- Season with onion powder, salt, and pepper.
