Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900g) Chicken thighs, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
  • for garnish Fresh cilantro
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, half the garam masala, turmeric, and salt for 30 min.
  2. Sear marinated chicken in 2 tbsp butter until golden. Remove.
  3. In the same pan, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic and ginger 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato paste, remaining garam masala, and cream. Simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Return chicken. Simmer 10 more minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
