Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (680g) Large shrimp, shell-on
- 8 oz (225g) Andouille sausage, sliced
- 8 cups Water
- 2 Lemons, halved
- 1 head, halved Garlic, smashed
- 3 Bay leaves
- 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Butter, melted (to serve)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
Method
- Bring water, lemons, garlic, bay leaves, Cajun seasoning, and salt to a boil in a large pot. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Add andouille; cook 5 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain, discarding bay leaves.
- Pile shrimp and sausage on a tray. Drizzle with melted butter and parsley; serve with the boiled lemon halves to squeeze.
