Ingredients
- 4 strips Thick-cut bacon
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 tsp Butter (if pan runs dry)
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Method
- Lay bacon in a cold skillet over medium heat. Cook 6-8 minutes, flipping once, until deeply crisp.
- Transfer bacon to a paper-towel-lined plate. Drain off all but 1 tbsp of fat.
- Crack the eggs into the hot fat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook 2-3 minutes until whites are fully set and yolks remain runny. Add butter if the pan looks dry.
- Slide eggs and bacon onto a plate; serve immediately.
