Ingredients
- 2 slices Almond flour bread
- 3 slices (1.5 oz) Black Forest ham
- 1/3 cup (40g) Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 1 Large egg
- 1.5 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- to taste Nutmeg, salt, pepper
Method
- Make bechamel as in the Croque Monsieur and assemble the sandwich.
- Broil 4-5 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Meanwhile, fry an egg in 1/2 tbsp butter, sunny-side up.
- Crown the sandwich with the fried egg and serve hot.
