Ingredients

  • 12 Jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz (225g) Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 12 (cut in half) Bacon strips

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Halve jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and garlic powder. Fill each jalapeño half.
  4. Wrap each with a half-strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake 18-20 minutes until bacon is crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.
