Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) Ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 tbsp Butter, cold
  • 4 Cheddar cheese slices
  • 8 large Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Tomato slices
  • 8 slices Dill pickles
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Mustard

Method

  1. Divide ground beef into 8 thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place 1 tbsp cold butter in center of 4 patties. Top with remaining patties and seal edges.
  3. Cook in a hot skillet 4-5 minutes per side for medium.
  4. Top with cheese in the last minute to melt.
  5. Serve wrapped in lettuce with tomato, pickles, and mustard.
