Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Sugar-free caramel syrup
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup (175ml) Unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Heavy cream
- 2 shots (60ml) Hot espresso (or strong coffee)
- 1 tsp Sugar-free caramel for drizzling
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Method
- Drizzle the sugar-free caramel and a pinch of cinnamon into the bottom of a tall clear glass.
- Stir the almond milk, cream, and remaining cinnamon together, then pour over the caramel.
- Add ice cubes — fill nearly to the rim.
- Brew the espresso and slowly pour it over the back of a spoon onto the iced milk, so it sits on top in dark streaks.
- Drizzle the extra caramel over the top in a zigzag. Stir before drinking for the full macchiato effect.
