Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) White fish fillets (cod/mahi)
  • 1 cup (for shells) Shredded cheddar
  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Avocado, sliced
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Make cheese shells: bake cheddar mounds at 400°F for 5 min. Drape over a wooden spoon handle to form taco shapes.
  2. Season fish with chili powder, cumin, and salt. Pan-sear 3-4 min per side.
  3. Mix cabbage, mayo, lime juice, and cilantro for slaw.
  4. Fill cheese shells with fish, slaw, and avocado.
