Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Mozzarella, shredded
- 2 oz (60g) Cream cheese
- 3/4 cup Almond flour
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 3 tbsp Butter, melted
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Microwave mozzarella and cream cheese 60-90 seconds until fully melted, stirring once.
- Quickly mix in almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt to form a dough.
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each into a 5-inch rope and tie into a knot.
- Place on baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden.
- While knots bake, mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Brush hot knots with garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan. Serve warm.
