Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 1/4 cups (300ml) Water
  • 1 tbsp Powdered allulose
  • 1 tsp Fresh lime juice
  • 1 Lime wheel for garnish
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan, then take off the heat.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus and steep 5-8 minutes — longer steep = deeper color and stronger tartness.
  3. Strain into a heat-safe pitcher; stir in the allulose while still warm so it dissolves cleanly.
  4. Let cool 10 minutes, then refrigerate until cold (or pour straight over plenty of ice if you're impatient).
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour over the hibiscus tea, stir in the lime juice, and garnish with the lime wheel.
