Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 1/4 cups (300ml) Water
- 1 tbsp Powdered allulose
- 1 tsp Fresh lime juice
- 1 Lime wheel for garnish
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Method
- Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan, then take off the heat.
- Add the dried hibiscus and steep 5-8 minutes — longer steep = deeper color and stronger tartness.
- Strain into a heat-safe pitcher; stir in the allulose while still warm so it dissolves cleanly.
- Let cool 10 minutes, then refrigerate until cold (or pour straight over plenty of ice if you're impatient).
- Fill a tall glass with ice, pour over the hibiscus tea, stir in the lime juice, and garnish with the lime wheel.
