Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Dried hibiscus flowers
  • 3/4 cup (175ml) Water
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Powdered allulose
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) Cold water for topping
  • 1 Lemon wheel for garnish
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil. Off the heat, steep the hibiscus 5-8 minutes for a deep magenta concentrate.
  2. Strain into a glass measuring cup and stir in the allulose while warm so it dissolves.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the hibiscus concentrate, then the lemon juice and the cold water.
  5. Stir well and garnish with the lemon wheel.
