Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz each) Filet mignon steaks
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • for garnish Fresh parsley
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in butter 4 min per side for medium-rare. Rest.
  2. In the same pan, sauté mushrooms and garlic 3 minutes.
  3. Add cream, mustard, and Worcestershire. Simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Return steaks to the pan, spoon sauce over. Garnish with parsley.
