Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) Sirloin steak, sliced thin
- 2 cups Shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1/4 medium Onion, sliced thin
- 1 Jalapeño, sliced
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- for serving Sour cream
Method
- Season steak with cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil 2 minutes per side. Slice thin.
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat, sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese in a circle. Let it melt and crisp.
- When edges are golden, add steak, onion, and jalapeño on one half.
- Add more cheese on top. Fold the crispy cheese shell over. Cook 1 more minute.
- Repeat for second quesadilla. Serve with sour cream and guacamole.
