Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Italian sausage
  • 2 cups Cauliflower, chopped
  • 2 cups Kale, chopped
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 4 strips Bacon
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  2. Brown sausage in bacon fat. Add garlic and pepper flakes.
  3. Add broth and cauliflower. Simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in kale and cream. Cook 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve topped with bacon crumbles.
